Publication Into Podcasting and Beyond

Founded in January 2004, Infoble was formed to provide personalized audio content to individuals living in a mobile, fast paced world.

The communication explosion has strained the ability of people to obtain critical information they want, and often need to hear. Fortunately, the convergence of low cost cell phone, PDA and MP3 technologies with laptop & desktop computers has created an exciting opportunity for Infoble to help resolve this problem.

Infoble has constructed a platform from which personalized audio and video 'capsules' are delivered to individuals at a specific time of the day. Utilizing cell phone, PDA, MP3 player and personal computer technologies, a delivered capsule can be heard immediately, or it can be played at a time and place most convenient to the recipient. This powerful, TiVo®-like flexibility gives each recipient complete control over when the audio message of the capsule is heard. Capsules can be delivered to a cell phone anywhere in the world providing both location-shift and time-shift functionality unique to Infoble.

A major feature of the Infoble technology is that every capsule is uniquely constructed on the basis of the preferences specified by the user. This feature ensures the recipient does not waste valuable time listening to topics which are not of interest.

Capsule content can originate from any printed or audible source material. For printed material, Infoble readers convert printed source materials into recorded spoken word. Alternatively, audible source material can be easily 'published' by Infoble technology without the use of any intervening readers. This approach, often called 'podcasting', is a very effective method of communicating a targeted audible message to a specific audience.

Infoble's proven technology is a major opportunity for traditional print publishers. The opportunity to extend print content to audio; the opportunity to tap into the buzz of a new market consisting of tens of millions of audio players; audio players used by younger consumers; younger consumers who represent future content consumption; younger consumers who occupy strategic demographic segments sought after by major advertisers; advertisers now unable to effectively reach these consumers using traditional print publications. This is an opportunity which only comes along once in a generation.

Infoble's home is in Chicago, with an offshore development center in India. It is a privately funded Corporation closely held by operating managers in the Company.
